Keyaira Williams, PsyD

black queer affirmative therapist

Hello! I am Dr. Keyaira!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Maryland (#06928). I am also authorized to provide telepsychology with clients in multiple states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming) through PSYPACT (#16067; issued 9/05/2023).

At The Goode Practice I meet with clients Monday through Thursdays. While our practice accepts select insurance plans, we're happy to offer you a superbill. This document provides detailed information for potential reimbursement if you choose to see me as an out-of-network provider. I also provide supervision to students seeking clinical training working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples.

My passion and expertise are in working with adults who are seeking support regarding depression, family challenges, attachment wounds, self-worth, relationship challenges, trauma, non-monogamy, isolation, and community building. I possess an additional specialty in providing relationship counseling to couples of color who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. Due to how challenging it can be to find a therapist with this experience, I do my best to limit my caseload to individuals and couples who need assistance with some of these concerns.

I believe that in order to create a safe space for my clients to be their most authentic selves, I must model that as well. Sessions with me have moments of quiet deep discovery as well as moments of humor and rapport. My clients describe work with me as warm, compassionate, challenging, and dynamic.

If you believe you may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out to our practice.

Take care!
