Dana M. Stalling, LCSW-C

Greetings!

Iā€™m Dana! I am a licensed, clinical social worker, providing tele-health therapy in the state of Maryland (LCSW-C, MD, #20801).  I have been blessed to provide therapy for 10+ years and hold a Master's degree from The University of Maryland School of Social Work.  I have extensive experience in a myriad of human service and community mental health based settings..  I am currently accepting new clients and hold sessions Monday-Fridays, and can offer appointments in the afternoons/evenings.  I can see clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and private pay.

I specialize in working with adults, with a focus on women's health issues that impact the BIPOC community, who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a person of color, I recognize that life transitions, grief, and unexpected  changes are greatly impacted by the intersectionality of our identities.  Our journey together, then,  will encourage you to process your feelings, while understanding the complexities of generational and cultural experiences on your emotional wellness.  We will work to create a space of personal healing, somatic enrichment, resiliency, and discernment.

Using a holistic perspective,  my theoretical approach will merge various techniques of psychotherapy, including Mindfulness Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to restore a wholeness of mind, body, and spirit.  I hold certifications in EMDR and Reiki Level I healing.

It takes enormous courage to begin to heal- let's start your journey!  I look forward to meeting you- change starts today!

Be well,

Dana (she/her)
